In a unexpected partnership that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "An unusual confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The storyline features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine cult.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Additional Material
Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an special katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
