The British tennis star earned the biggest win of his career by coming back from a set down to overcome top-ranked player Carlos Alcaraz in three hard-fought sets in the second round of the prestigious indoor tournament.

The British player, positioned No 31, also ended Alcaraz's supreme sequence of nine consecutive finals and 17 straight premier event wins, which represented the best series of outcomes in the young champion's developing career.
